Meet Rob

Rob qualified as a Solicitor in 1996, having enjoyed a broad, hands on training at Preston’s Michael Wood & Co, dealing with civil litigation, debt recovery, commercial property and criminal defence.

Having worked as associate solicitor and partner at Sutcliffe Reed Solicitors from 1998, Rob established Kellocks Solicitors in 2006 which he ran until October 2019.

Throughout a distinguished career, he is a former President of Preston Incorporated Law Society, a final shortlist candidate for Solicitor of the Year in the national Law Society Excellence Awards, former vice chairman of the Justice Delivery Group and legal adviser, former Director and national Chairman of Porsche Club GB.

With a career long track record in dispute resolution, Rob is able to assist in providing representation in disputes between individuals, disputes between indviduals and the State, disputes between businesses and disputes between businesses and individuals.  Rob enjoys a strong reputation locally as one of Preston’s finest Road Traffic lawyers and motoring law specialists.

Rob’s freelance business was established in February 2020 to provide legal services to private individuals, and SMEs.  Now in its third year, the practice has demonstrated that its formula of providing high quality advice at low cost has proved very popular.

Here’s what our happy clients have to say about our services:

“There was evidence of good use of tactics where the client was advised not to accept the Notice of Discontinuance and ask for the case to be revived. By doing this, the CPS were forced to offer no evidence and the case was dismissed. This then prevented the CPS from starting proceedings again once they had received further evidence which they anticipated would become available.”

Independent Peer Review, February 2017

“Very clear about my case and explained everything in great detail.  The service was excellent.”

August 2019

“Robert Kellock [is] a credit to the legal system.”

July 2019

“Good advocacy could be inferred from a case where the client was acquitted despite the evidence against him being that of 2 police officers who both gave evidence. Also, on another, the client was acquitted on a charge of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle despite being arrested in the car with the engine running.”

Independent Peer Review, February 2017

“Knowledgeable, helpful and reasonably priced.  Recommended by a colleague.”

July 2019

“Made me feel relaxed in an unpleasant situation.  Explained things clearly.  Very pleasant.”

July 2019

“I found the solicitor friendly, easy to understand and professional at all times.  I would use your company again for any other matters”

May 2019

“Rob is a brilliant professional who is able to explain complex areas of law in a succinct and accessible manner. His ability to provide comfort in difficult situations is testament to his character and I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone.”
