It was nice to end the year by reading some very kind words from Porsche Club GB in the January 2021 edition of their Porsche Post magazine. After almost nine years advising the Club either formally or informally, it was a hard decision to step away from a role I valued dearly.
After just ten months trading as a Freelance Solicitor, most of which, somewhat unexpectedly turned out to be under some form of lockdown restrictions, I am delighted to be able to confirm that business is booming. With particular thanks to Gerald Waterfield at N430 Consulting Limited, John Chesworth and David Edwards at Harrison Drury, Gill Sheratt at Licensing Matters, Simon Ashworth and Malcolm Ireland from Napthens, and Paul Woodburn and Ian Johnson at Wallwork Nelson & Johnson for introducing me to a wide variety of new clients.
Many thanks to all my clients who have put their faith and confidence in a new business and for choosing me over some very high quality and well established competition.
By keeping my overheads to an absolute minimum, I have been able to pass those cost savings on to clients and provide what I believe to be a very high quality and competitive service for a significantly reduced price. It is a formula which seems to work. With great IT back up from Stuart Walton at GetProCopy, the technology is there for more modern working practices.
There are many other people to thank who have helped provide me with invaluable support and assistance in this new venture so, a very sincere thank you to you all.
Wishing all my clients, past, present and future, a very happy Christmas during what will be very challenging times for many, and fingers crossed that 2021 brings an end to social distancing and a the re-birth of the hospitality and entertainment industries.
